In the summer of 1954, Dr. Heinrich Müller believed he had found the solution to the world's plastic waste problem. His revolutionary "Plastomorphic Transmutation" would convert discarded plastics into harmless organic compounds.

But science, pushed too far, has a way of pushing back. When the reactor overloaded, something horrifying emerged from the bubbling chemical soup—a living, breathing amalgamation of every piece of plastic humanity had ever discarded.
